65 days of activities, 15 different workshops, 455 hours of creativity, 5 artist-led programs: all this, and much more in Madre Factory 2020, the project of social inclusion by Fondazione Donnaregina per le arti contemporanee, presented from 17 June to 13 September in Piazza Madre, the main gallery on the ground floor, and the two courtyards of the museum of contemporary art of the Region of Campania.
These workshops and free activities for adults and children are presented as part of the second edition of Madre per il Sociale and dedicated to Gianni Rodari and his ‘grammar of fantasy’, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
Artists, creatives, performers, artisans and an educational team spend the summer in the Donnaregina complex, leading a community experience in a safe and accessible environment, among fantastic stories, artist-designed activities and games, all exploring the creative languages of our time.
The key words of summer at the Madre: ecology, solidarity, sustainability, inclusion and fun.
