Loredana Troise is an art historian and curator specialized in Modern Literature, Human Science and Conservation of the Cultural Heritage. She collaborated with the Scuola di Specializzazione dei Beni Architettonici e del Paesaggio of Naples, the Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa and the Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. She is responsable of the Department of Visual Arts of Museo Hermann Nitsch-Casa Morra-Fondazione Morra in Naples (and part of the board of directors). She is the historical artistic referent of the Vigna San Martino and of projects such Independent Film Show (E-M Arts), il Quartiere dell’Arte e il Giocodell’Oca: 100 anni di mostre, of Giuseppe Morra. Among her most recent curatorial projects there are Lo Scoiattolo e il Graal, Reggia di Capodimonte, Napoli; Atlanti Metafisici e Roccaforte, Palazzo Bagnara, Napoli; Femminile de Villehardouin (in collaboration with Raffaella Morra and Teresa Carnevale), San Domenico Maggiore, Napoli; La Rosa dei 20 (in collaboration with Guglielmo Gigliotti), Museo H. Nitsch, Napoli; Re-Gareder e Desassossego, Castel dell’Ovo, Napoli; Portflux, Casa Morra-Archivi Mario Franco, Napoli. Professor of History of Contemporary Art at the Accademia di Belle Arti of Naples, she is journalist and author of contributes for magazines, books and catalogues.
