The Foundation Donnaregina for the Contemporary Arts has launched a program of advocacy, called “MATRONATO” (“matronage”), with the purpose of recognizing, evaluating and disseminating a knowledge of projects deserving of consideration because of their value and cultural or artistic quality.
Proposals for these projects may be forwarded by subjects resident or based in one of the following Italian regions: Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily, Sardinia, Abruzzo, Molise. If meritorious, they will be subjected, on proposal of the Director General, to the incontestable assessment of a jury consisting of the members of the Scientific Committee and the Director General of the Fondazione Donnaregina for the Contemporary Arts.
In order to disseminate the program, each year a public announcement will be made, by publication exclusively on the Foundation’s website, as proposed by the Director General and approved by Board of Directors.
If the jury considers any of the proposals to be of merit, it will deliberate the granting of its patronage, which will enable the holder of the selected project to use, in all material communications, the logo of the Matronato, including the name and emblem of the Museo MADRE and the following wording: “Under the matronage of the Fondazione Donnaregina for the contemporary arts”, followed by the year in which the project received recognition.
The sponsorship will also be granted for specific projects proposed by the Director.
