Drawing on Maria Lai’s textile fairy tale Tenendo per mano l’ombra, this family-focused activity invites participants to explore the theme of happiness through words, images and personal memories. Following the reading of the fairy tale, children, together with their parents or carers, will take part in a creative workshop to make flowers inspired by their own little everyday joys. The creations will come together to form a large collective ‘garden’ – a composition of stories and memories to be woven together and shared, in dialogue with Maria Lai’s poetic vision.
An activity for families with children (aged 6–12)
