Olga Scotto di Vettimo

Olga Scotto di Vettimo (Naples, 1972) is art critic and historician. Specialized in History of Art at the “Federico II” University of Naples, she collaborated with the Special Superintendence for the Neapolitan Museal Area and with the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Napoli. From 2005 to 2009 she has been the scientific coordinator of the multimedia archives of PAN | Palace of Arts Naples and, from 2009 to 2011, of the ideation and organization of exhibitions activities together with artistic direction. She collaborated with the General Direction of the landscape, of fine arts, architecture and contemporary arts of MiBACT-Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo for the managing of projects on the languages of the contemporary, and she was part of the curatorial staff of the exhibition Codice Italia, curated by Vincenzo Trione at the 2015 Italian Pavillion (Biennial of Venice). Professor of Theory of Multimedia Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, she is correspondent for “Il Giornale dell’Arte” and author of various essays and papers on specialized magazines, books and catalogues.
