Appearances and Recognition. The Gaze between Art and Medicine

Starting from Iona Heath’s Modi di imparare

What happens when we truly learn to see? For almost twenty years, Iona Heath, a general practitioner, exchanged letters, drawings, readings and questions with John Berger, the writer and art critic who was one of the twentieth century’s most perceptive observers. This correspondence gave rise to Modi di imparare, edited and translated by Maria Nadotti and published by Il Pensiero Scientifico Editore.

Consecutive interpreting will be provided during the book presentation.
