Marisa Merz’s exhibition, curated by Eduardo Cicelyn e Denys Zacharopoulos at the Madre Museum, is conceived as an all-inclusive installation of a selected corpus of recent works testifying of the latest developments of the artist’s research in her forty-year career.
Following the artist’s custom, the arrangement of the works in the exhibition area is not an attempt to say the last word on the research carried out between 2004 to 2006. On the contrary, the artist sees this act as a way to check and re-define, or rather re-create, the flow of an image-based thought which does not want to be concluded by a final statement.
