Within the national #iorestoacasa (#stayinghome) campaign, Madre museum has invited artists and creative people to interpret specific words and crucial themes that mirror this historical moment, during which daily life has changed abruptly: close/distant, home, isolation, community, quarantine, family, relationships, transmission, solidarity, infection, space, border, body, rules, routine, limit, mutation, emergency, hug, opportunity.
Day by day, we will share the contributions of the artists who joined our Call to Action “How to change the world from your living room”. A kaleidoscope of many different voices, languages and sensitivity which illustrates an experience that associate all of us.

“A record of a period of time, working and living in quarantine (which we have been privileged to do), made casually with our phones and including extracts from a poem by Mahmoud Darwish and a voice over inspired by The House is Black by Forough Farrokhzad. The video shows transient moments of life while the world is on pause in solidarity over covid-19. Time here is a different concept from duration. Duration is something grounded in finite modes. Time is like a third path, a product of imagination. It is an invitation to be vigilant.”
